OUR PURPOSE
The Teche Growers Association is a local agriculture organization consisting of 60 plus members and growing. Our mission is to educate, promote and preserve the agriculture and farming industry of South Louisiana.
EDUCATE.
We are dedicated to educating the community on sustainable agriculture practices. We believe that by teaching individuals the importance of growing and preserving their own food, we can promote a healthier and more sustainable way of life. Through educational workshops and community outreach programs, we strive to empower individuals to take control of their own food systems.
PROMOTE.
We strive to support our farmers and business owners, providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Our goal is to establish a united and self-reliant community, one that works together to create an enhanced quality of life for all. Join us as we continue to enrich the community, and share in our passion to cultivate a brighter future.
PRESERVE.
We are dedicated to preserving our rich agricultural heritage and ensuring a high-quality food supply for generations to come. Our members work tirelessly to promote sustainable farming practices and support local growers and producers.
